Woodrow Wilson Foskey was born 12-18-1912 and died 2-15-1980 (GA DC# 007022) and
is buried in Northview Cemetery in Laurens County.

EAST DUBLIN---Woodrow Wilson Foskey, 67, died Friday in a local hospital.
Services will be held at 2:30PM Sunday in East Dublin Baptist Church. Burial
will be in North View Cemetery. The Rev. Ronnie Powell and the Rev. James H.
Frost will officiate.
Mr. Foskey, a lifelong resident of Laurens County, was a member of East Dublin
Baptist Church, the Laurens County CB Club, the Dublin Laurens County Civil
Defense Unit, and the Georgia Peace Officers' Association. He was a radio
dispatcher with the East Dublin Police Department.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Josephine Lane Foskey of East Dublin; a son,
Melvin Bowen of East Dublin; and three grandchildren, Mrs. Joann Starley of
Atlanta, Mrs. Melba Knight of East Dublin and Steve Bowen of Scott, Ga.
The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9PM today at Townsend Brothers
Funeral Home.
