A native of Johnson County, she had lived in Laurens for 28 years and was the daughter of the late Curt M. Fosley and Mrs. Missouri Mimbs Foskey. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband, John Brantley; a son, Milo Brantley of Dublin; two daughters, Mrs. Coy Hester and Mrs. Walter Rownfend, both of Dublin; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Sonny Cauley of Kibbee and Mrs. John Davis of Bradenton,Fla.; four sisters, Mrs. Morris Horton of Scott, Mrs. Ethel Watts and Mrs. Iona Davis, both of Soperton, and Mrs. Jimmie Johnson, Apopka, Fla.; four brothers Eason Foskey of Wrightsville, Tilt, R. L., and W. E. Foskey, all of Dublin; and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 4PM at the Union Baptist Church by the Rev. T. H. Beckworth, the Rev. Irvin Flanders, and the Re. J. E. Harwell. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Dewey Warnock, Douglas Bush, Tullie Donaldson, Irvin Warnock, Cessum Young, and Laren Thigpen.
