                Rites Today For Mrs. Gibson Of Milledgeville
 Funeral services for Mrs. Reitha Keene Gibson. 60 of Milledgeville, will be 
held at Townsend Chapel today at 4:00pm with the Rev. Joseph Holliday 
officiating. Burial will be in Dublin Memorial Gardens.
 Pallbearers will be O. D. Cullens Jr., Alfred Daniels, Billy Jones, Bill 
Powell, John Clark, and Owen Farmer. The body will lie in state at Townsend's 
Chapel until time of the funeral.
 Mrs. Gibson, who died in a Baldwin County hospital Monday after an extended 
illness, was a native of Laurens County and lived most of her life in Dublin 
and Laurens. She had lived in Milledgeville for the past few years. Mrs. 
Gibson was the daughter of the late Alfred Keen and Arabelia Steward Keen of 
Laurens County and was the widow of Jesse Lee Gibson of Dublin. She was a 
member of the Jefferson St. Baptist Church.
 Survivors include one son, Dave Brooks of Milledgeville; a daughter, Mrs. 
Jessie Mae Hilburn of East Dublin; six sisters, Mrs. Siella Keene, Mrs. Addis 
Smith, Mrs. Christine Jones, Mrs. Shelley Daniels, Mrs. Bernice Blankenship, 
all of Dublin and Mrs. Bertha Harrison of Baxley; two brothers, Cecil Keene of 
San Francisco, Calif. and Alfred P. Keene of Claxton, and four grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
Reitha was born 2 Nov 1907 to Alfred Lehman Keen/Keene and Arbellia Stewart 
Keen/Keene. Her first husband was Hilary D. Brooks. Georgia death certificate 
#011526.
