                Final Rites Held For John C. Hall This Afternoon
 Final rites were held this afternoon at the Silver Leaf Baptist Church for 
John C. Hall, 66, who died Sunday in a local hospital. Elder Ralph Riner and 
Rev. T. H. Beckworth officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. 
Pallbearers were James Webb, C. W. Webb, Pierce Bush, Herman Bush, Everett 
Foskey, and Otis Evans. Townsend's Funeral Home was in charge.
 Mr. Hall was born and reared in Laurens County and was a retired railroad 
employee. He was a member of the Silver Leaf Baptist Church.
 Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Ethel Foskey of Dublin; one son, 
John C. Hall Jr. of Dublin; four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Lee Johnson, Mrs. 
Bertice Faye Pryor, Mrs. Charlotte Dominey, and Miss Shirley Hall, all of 
Dublin; and eight grandchildren.

John was born 7-27-1893 to John Hall and Lizzie Unknown.
