                               Mrs. S. D. Hanson Dies
 Mrs. S. D. Hanson, age 60 years, died late last Wednesday night at the home 
of her daughter, Mrs. Roy Grimes.
 Mrs. Hanson had been ill for several months, being confined to her bed for a 
greater portion of her illness. She was a lady with a wonderful cheerful 
personality and was greatly beloved by her relatives and friends. Before her 
marriage, she was Miss Onie Stewart, a native of Laurens County. The family 
had made their home here for about 12 years.
 Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at Blue Springs church in 
Laurens County. Rev. Ralph Griffin officiating and he delivered a beautiful 
eulogy on her life and character.
 Those surviving besides the husband are five sons, Jim. Talmadge, Buddy, 
Esra, and Albert; five daughters, Mrs. Roy grimes, Soperton, Mrs. Ben Johnson, 
Swainsboro, Mrs. John Johnson, Pulaski, Ga., Mrs. Carl Smith, Scott, and Mrs. 
Alfred Keen, Dublin; four sisters, Mrs. Alfred Keen, Dublin, Mrs. Henry 
Thomas, Dublin, Mrs. Robert Graham, Lollie, and Mrs. Tom Brantley, Dublin; 
four brothers, Willie, Neal, Harris, and Charlie, all of Lollie.
 Pallbearers; Billy Wilkes, Isaac Willis, Clarence Spivey, J. M. Spivey, Homer 
Russell, and Rural Spivey.

NOTE--Relative to the brothers and sisters, this obituary seems to have listed 
them without regard to whether they were still living.

Additional Comments:
Onnie was born 10 Feb 1874 to William Riley Stewart and Nancy Brantley 
Stewart.
