              Services Set Saturday For Mr. Hanson
 Funeral services for Edgar H. Hanson Sr., 66, 321 Arch Street, Dublin, will 
be held Saturday at 3pm in the C. Homer Adams Chapel. The Rev. Lloyd E. Welch 
and the Rev. Louis Lambert will officiate. Burial will be in Dublin Memorial 
Gardens.
 Mr. Hanson died Thursday in a local hospital after a brief illness. A native 
of Laurens County, he was the son of the late James Lamar and Nellie Virens 
Spivey Hanson. He was owner and operator of an independent trucking company 
and a member of First Baptist Church.
 Survivors include his wife, McL S. Hanson of Dublin; a daughter, Betty June 
Hanson of Dublin; a son, Gary Hanson of Dublin; nine sisters, Louise Daniels, 
Lettie Dixon, Helen Leverette and Joyce Hancock, all of Dublin, Reba Esposito 
of Orlando, Fla., Nell Perry of Stone Mountain, Wanda Harden of Glenwood, 
Paula Waters of Soperton, and Grace Edge of Mount Vernon; four brothers, 
Herbert Hanson of Jacksonville, Fla., Darwin Hanson of Soperton, Ray Hanson of 
Soperton, and Johnnie Hanson of Nashville, Tenn.; a number of nieces, nephews, 
and other relatives.
 Pallbearers will be Glenn Leverette, Sonny Daniels, William Carter, James 
Fordham, Freddie Smith, David Hanson, Russell Perry, Randall Roberts, and 
Hilbert Fordham.

Additional Comments:
Edgar was born 5-9-1913. Georgia death certificate #013936. His first wife was 
Ollie Foskey Hanson and his second wife was Evelyn McL Smith Hanson.
