                          Thurman Hester
DUBLIN - Services for Thurman Laney "Buddy" Hester will be at 11 a.m. Monday 
in Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial in Dublin Memorial Gardens. 
Hester, 78, died Friday, June 18, 1999. Born in Laurens County, he was the son 
of the late Alfred and Pauline Graham Hester. He was a retired school bus 
driver, a farmer, and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of 
Bethlehem Baptist Church. Survivors include his children, Barney Hester of 
Macon and Diane H. Spires of Chicago; brother and sisters, Robert Hester of 
Dexter, Katie Mae Graham of Rockledge, Docia Hester of Warner Robins and 
Donnie Fulford of Sylvania; and four grandchildren. The family will receive 
friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
