                            Alfred Paul Hester
 Funeral services for Alfred Paul Hester, 39, of Homestead, Fla., who died 
Wednesday in a Homestead hospital after a short illness will be held at 2pm 
Sunday from the Blue Springs Baptist Church. The Rev. James H. Frost and the 
Rev. Irvin Flanders will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
 The body will be placed in state at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home Chapel 
this afternoon where it will remain until 1:30pm Sunday, when it will be 
placed in the church. 
 Active pallbearers will be Don Hester, Barney Hester, Randell Graham, Wayne 
Graham, Brady Spires, Bobby Graham, and Sentell Pope.
 Mr. Hester was born and reared in Laurens County, son of Mrs. Pauline G. 
Hester and the late Alfred L. Hester of Rockledge. He was a veteran of the 
Korean war and had lived in Homestead for the past 10 years where he was a 
carpenter and maintenance contractor. Mr. Hester was a member of the Blue 
Springs Baptist Church.
 Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Betty Fowler Hester of Homestead, Fla.; a son, 
Al Hester of Homestead, Fla.; three daughters, Miss Joy Hester and Mrs. Lynn 
Craven, both of Homestead, Fla. and Mrs. Cathy Mason of Tennille; his mother, 
Mrs. Pauline G. Hester of Rockledge; five brothers, Thurman Hester and 
Cleveland Hester, both of Dublin, Robert Hester of Dudley, the Rev. Lamont 
Hester of Wrightsville, and Bobby Hester of Hollywood, Fla.; three sisters, 
Mrs. Katie Mae Graham of Rockledge, Mrs. Docia Hester of Warner Robins, and 
Mrs. Donnie Fulford of Wrightsville.
 The family will be at the home of his mother in Rockledge.
