Hilburn, in Carter's District late yesterday, was received here today. Mr. Hilburn was found dead in bed by his wife yesterday. Coroner W. C. Perry and County Physician A. T. Coleman held an inquest as required by law and it was announced that Mr. Hilburn's death was caused by natural causes. Brief reports say that Mr. Hilburn had disposed of the body of a dead mule and upon his return to the house, lay down across the bed. Later when called by Mrs. Hilburn, he did not answer and examination showed that he was dead. Mr. Hilburn was 51 years of age and a member of the Methodist church. He is survived by his wife, three children; Misses Lois and Cleo Hilburn and Clarence Hilburn; four sisters, Mrs. F. A. Fulford, Brewton, Mrs. T. J. Keen, Dublin, Mrs. Zora Hightower, Minter, and Mrs. J. A. Barber, Auburndale, Fla. The funeral was held at 4 o'clock this afternoon at Carter's Chapel with the Rev. W. R. Hanson officiating and the Lord Funeral Parlor in charge of interment. Additional Comments: Aaron was born 2 Jul 1879 to Ira H. Hilbun/Hilburn and Unknown.
