                               Mrs. T. E. Holmes
 DUBLIN--- Mrs. T. E. Holmes of 402 Outler Street died Friday in a local 
hospital. Born in Laurens County, she was the former Reita Mae Keen and was a 
member of First Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Doc Keen and 
Leila Stewart Keen and was the widow of Therman E. Holmes. Survivors: 
children, Vanita Bouleware of Atlanta, Betty Chambliss and Rose Shoptaw, both 
of Dublin; brothers and sisters, Lyman Keen of Dublin, Lehman Keen of Storey 
Point, NC and Ruby Lightsey of Nashville, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-
grandchildren. Services: 2pm Sunday in Dublin Memorial Gardens. The Rev. G. 
Lamar Holley will officiate. Visitation: The family may be contacted at the 
residence of James H. Shoptaw, Clover Dale Court. In lieu of flowers, the 
family requests donations be made to Pilot Club of Dublin, Foundation 
Lifeline, PO Box 4461, Dublin or Goodnews Christian Braodcasting, PO Box 
12155, Augusta 30904. Townsend Brothers Funeral Home has charge of 
arrangements.
