                            John H. Johnson
 SOPERTON--- Final rites for John Henry Johnson, 91, who died Sunday in a 
local hospital, will be held tomorrow at two pm in the chapel of Sammons 
Funeral Home with burial in Westview Cemetery in Soperton. The family will be 
at the Sammons Funeral Home to receive their friends tonight from seven to ten 
pm.
 A native of Laurens County, Mr. Johnson had lived here for 23 years.
 He is survived by two sons, Luther and Gene Johnson, both of Dublin; a 
daughter, Mrs. M. E. Stanfield of Soperton; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Mae 
Townsend and Mrs. Mozelle Townsend, both of Dublin; four grandchildren; and 
two great-grandchildren.
 Sammons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

John was born 9 Oct 1887 to Reuben O. Johnson and Margaret Wood Johnson.
