                             Lether Johnson
 Funeral services for Lether Johnson, 53, of Route Two, were held this 
afternoon at two pm in the Townsend Chapel. The Rev. James H. Frost officiated 
and burial was in Graham Memorial Church Cemetery.
 Mr. Johnson, son of the late John H. Johnson and Mrs. Ida Hanson Johnson of 
Laurens County, died Tuesday at his home after a sudden heart attack. He was a 
retired construction worker and member of the Baptist faith.
 He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Fannie Mae Smith Johnson, Route Two; one 
son, Larry Johnson, of Dublin; a brother, Gene Johnson of Dublin; and a 
sister, Mrs. Lallie Stanfield of Soperton.
 Townsend Funeral Home directed the arrangements.
