(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net May 14, 2012, 5:25 pm The Dublin Courier Herald 11-14-1983 Fannie Smith Johnson Services for Fannie Smith Johnson, 63, of Rt. 3 Dublin, were held Sunday at 3pm in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. The Rev. James H. Frost officiated. Burial was in Graham Memorial Cemetery. A native of Johnson County, Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Joseph and Annie Brown Smith and the wife of the late Lether Johnson. She was a retired employee of Biljo Company and a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnson died Friday in a local hospital after an extended illness. Survivors include two brothers, Jim Smith and I. T. Smith, both of Macon; a stepson, Larry Johnson of Dublin; and several nieces and nephews including Bernice Bracewell of Dublin. Pallbearers were Jack D. Smith, Kenneth Smith, Carvis Smith, Jack May, Clarence Bright, and Nathan Robinson. Additional Comments: Fannie was born 18 Nov 1919. Georgia death certificate #038066.
