Keen, 75, died Saturday, March 13, 1999. Born in Laurens County, he was the son of the late Eli L. and Lelia Pearl Stewart Keen. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Normandy invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of Springdale Baptist Church, Dublin. Survivors include his wife, Mabel Jeanette Bell Keen; children, Lyman Jimmy Keen, Denny Robert Keen, and Mark Franklin Keen, all of Dublin, Tony Lynn Keen of Atlanta; brother, Lehman Q. Keen of Stony Point, N.C.; three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 tonight in Adams Funeral Home Additional Comments: Lyman was born 22 Apr 1923.
