Keen MILLEDGEVILLE---- Joseph Stoy Keen, 68, died Thursday in a Baldwin County hospital after a brief illness. Services will be held at 11am today in the chapel of Martin Funeral Home. Burial will be at 3pm in Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene Cemetery in Laurens County. Mr. Keen, a native of Laurens County, lived in Milledgeville seven years, having moved from Murfreesboro, Tenn. He was a retired merchant and was a member of Bruton Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Jones Keen of Milledgeville; two daughters, Mrs. Stoylene Priest of Milledgeville and Mrs. Sandra Kaye Wilson of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; three brothers, Roy Keen of Smyrna, Tenn., Leman Keen of Storypoint, NC, and Pete Keen of Dublin; two sisters, Mrs. T. E. Holmes of Dublin and Mrs. Ruby Lightsey of Nashville, Tenn.; and six grandchildren. Additional Comments: Joseph was born 9 Apr 1908 to Elihu L. "Doc" Keen/Keene and Lelia Pearl Stewart Keen/Keene.
