Lightsey NASHVILLE, Tenn. ---- A memorial service for Ruby Keen Lightsey, 85, of 550 McCrory Creek Road will be held at 11am Tuesday in the chapel of Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home in Donelson, Tenn. The interment and committal service will be held at 2pm Wednesday at Dublin Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Douglas Bush officiating. A native of Laurens County, Mrs. Lightsey was the daughter of the late Elihue (Doc) and Leila Stewart Keen. A resident of Nashville for the past 20 years, she was a retired bookeeper and a Christian Scientist. Mrs. Lightsey died Friday at a Nashville nursing home after an extended illness. Survivors include a granddaughter, Lela Bayley of Sacramento, Calif.; two brothers, Lyman (Pete) Keen of Dublin and Lehman Keen of Stony Point, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews, including Mark Keen, Bob Keen, Tony Keen, Betty Chambless, and Rose Shoptaw, all of Dublin, and Lyman ( Jimmy) Keen Jr. of Macon. The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Shoptaw, 212 Cloverdale Court, Dublin, on Wednesday. Townsend Brothers Funeral Home in Dublin has charge of local arrangements.
