Nobles., Jr. http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00005.html#0001076 September 27, 2009, 3:47 pm Pobably: Macon Telegraph, no date Elder Jack Benjamin Lord Funeral Services for Elder Jack Benjamin Lors, 86, of Dudley, who died Monday, May 28, 1990 at his residence were held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 30 at Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church in Bleckley County with Elder Garry Hall, Elder Sammy Bryant, and Elder Richard Halbgewachs officiating. Burial was in the Trail Branch Cemetery. Elder Lord was a native of Laurens County, the son of the late Robert M. Lord and the late Annie Elizabeth Floyd Lord.. He was the widower of Clara Knighton Lord. He was a ordained elder of the Primitive Baptist Church since 1931, serving many churches in this area. He was a retired milk inspector with the state of Georgia and a retired farmer. Survivors include one son, Elder Raybon Lord of Sycamore, one daughter, Mrs. Jackie L. Hilton of Dudley; eight sisters, Mrs. Rosa Williamson of Dexter, Mrs Susie Dorsey and Mrs Lucille Davis, both of Dudley, Mrs. Annie Thompson, Mrs. Lorene Rowe and Mrs, Jeanette Fulford, all of Dublin, Mrs. Ruth Walsott of South Gate, Calif., and Mrs. Louise McCoy of Hampton, S.C; three brothers, Ivy Lord of Whittier, Calif., Minton Lord of Dudley and Ray Lord of East Dublin; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jim Lord, Bob Lord, Paul Lord, Sam Lord, Dennis Lord and Bob Green.
