Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church in Bleckley County. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Elders Rabun Lord and Richard Halbgewachs will officiate. A native and lifelong resident of Laurens County, Mr. Lord was the son of the late Robert M. and Susie Mullis Lord. He was a retired civil service employee of Robins Air Force Base and was a member of Trail Branch Primitive Baptist Church, where he was church clerk for over 40 years. He also was church clerk for the Ebenezer Primitive Baptist Association for 40 years. Survivors inclue his wife, Fannie Nobles Lord of Dudley; two sons, Hubert Lord of Dexter and Royce Lord of Cochran; two daughters, Doris Abney of Cochran and Carolyn Garner of Dexter, eight sisters, Susie Darsey and Lucile Davis, both of Dudley, Annie Thompson, Lorene Lowe {Rowe} and Jeanette Fulford, all of Dublin, Ruth Walcott of South Gate, Calif., Louise McCoy of Hampton, S.C., and Rosa Williamson of Dexter.
