                         Mrs. Orene Martin
 Funeral services for Mrs. Orene Martin, 76, of Dublin Route 6, will be held 
tomorrow, Thursday, at 11am in the chapel of Sammons Funeral Home. Burial will 
be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Laurens County. The Rev. Clinton Warnock will 
officiate and Sammons Funeral Home will direct.
 Mrs. Martin died Tuesday afternoon in a local nursing home after a long 
illness. She was a life-time resident of Laurens County and member of the 
Minter Baptist Church.
 Widow of John Martin, she is survived by one son, James W. Martin of Dublin; 
a sister, Mrs. Lewis Garnto of Brunswick; three brothers, T. L. Mimbs Sr. and 
Eustace Mimbs, both of Dublin and " Fat Boy" Mimbs of Scott; and 2 
grandchildren.
 Pallbearers will include Wayne Wyatt, T. L. Mimbs Jr., Charlie Mimbs, Alfred 
Mimbs, Melvin Mimbs, and Edison Garnto.

Additional Comments:
Orene was born 11-20-1896 to Alford L. Mimbs and Mary Cornelia Wood Mimbs. 
Georgia death certificate #024873. Both parents as well as her husband are 
also buried at Bethlehem Cemetery.
