McDaniel, 307 Telfair Street, died early this morning at her residence after being ill eight months. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time but will be announced later by Adams Funeral Home. Mrs. McDaniel was the daughter of the late William Hayden and Georgia Ann Rozier Hayden, and the widow of the late J. E. McDaniel. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and had lived here 48 years. Survivors include one son, J. E. McDaniel of Dublin; five daughters, Mrs. C. D. Prescott, Mrs. Grace Williamson, and Mrs. James T. Holland, all of Dublin, Mrs. S. J. Harrison of Swainsboro and Mrs. Thomas F. Grier, also of Swainsboro; one sister, Mrs. Nida V. Burch of Montezuma, and eight grandchildren. NOTE-Error in obituary. She was the daughter of Hayden Mathew Lee and Georgia Ann Rozier Lee. Additional Comments: Meda was born 1-12-1878. Georgia death certificate #26932. She and her husband, Joesph Erastus McDaniel Sr. are both buried at Northview Cemetery in Laurens County.
