                            Mr. McDaniel
 Services for Joseph E. McDaniel Jr., 77, of 307 Telfair St. Dublin, will be 
held at 3pm Sunday in the C. Homer Adams Chapel at Adams Funeral Home. The 
Rev. Lamar Holley will officiate and burial will be in Northview Cemetery.
 Mr. McDaniel, the son of the late Joseph E. McDaniel Sr. and Meda Lee 
McDaniel, was a retired wholesale grocer and postal employee, a veteran of 
World War II serving in the Army Air Force and a member of ther First Baptist 
Church in Dublin. He died Friday morning at his home.
 Survivors include four sisters, Cora Lee M. Prescott and Ruby M. Holland, 
both of Dublin, Winnie M. Harrison  and Georgia M. Grier, both of Swainsboro; 
and several nieces and nephews.
 Pallbearers will include Joe Rutland, Newt Michael, James Perry, Anthony 
Cook, G. C. Hawkins, and Eddie Herron.
 The McDaniel family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:30 to 9pm 
tonight.

Joseph was born 4-2-1908. Georgia death certificate #016442.
