                             Joe David Miller Jr.
 Services for Joe David Miller Jr., 72, of 214 E. Moore St., Dublin, will be 
held at 2:30pm Sunday at East Dublin Baptist Church. The Rev. Ronnie Powell 
will officiate and burial will be in Northside Cemetery.
 A native of Montgomery County, Mr. Miller was the son of the late Joe David 
Miller Sr. and the late Fleta Odom Miller. He lived in Laurens County most of 
his life, was a retired service station operator, a veteran of World War II, 
and a member of East Dublin Baptist Church. Mr. Miller died Friday morning at 
a local hospital after an extended illness.
 Survivors include his wife, Lottie Horton Miller of Dublin; two sons, Joel 
Miller of Milledgeville and Ronald Clinton Miller of Rockledge; four 
daughters, Shirley Miller Wilkes of Martinez, Patricia Lynn Miller of 
Martinez, Kathy Miller Garrett of Hazlehurst, and Jennie Miller Hess of East 
Dublin; a sister, Julia Thomas of Scott; and 12 grandchildren.
 Pallbearers will be Gaston Foskey, Jimmy Foskey, Jeff Moore, Ricky Moore, 
Wendell Moore, and Kenny Odom.
 The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 tonight at Townsend Funeral Home.
