L. Mimbs, 78, who died Monday morning at her home on Dublin Route six after being ill for about a year. Burial in the church cemetery. Officiating ministers chosen were the Rev. Mr. Dyess, Rev. J. E. Harvell and the Rev. T. H. Beckworth. Active pallbearers included T. L. Mimbs Jr., Roy Mimbs, Dewey Warnock, Eugene Mimbs, Clint Wyatt Jr. and Ervin Warnock. Honorary escort; Alfred Warnock, Elvin Warnock, Mabre Curl, J. W. Warren, Wallace Wood, English Foskey, Hugh Wood and Richard Warnock. Sammons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Mimbs, better known as "Aunt Cornelia" was the widow of the late A. L. Mimbs. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Tillman L. Mimbs, Route 2, Eustace Mimbs of sawyer Street, Dublin, and William A. Mimbs Sr. of Houston Avenue, Macon; three daughters, Mrs. Orene Martin of Dublin Route 6, Mrs. Elbert Mimbs of Alamo, and Mrs. Garnto of 3504 Gordon Street, Brunswick; 21 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
