                            Retta J. Mimbs
 Services for Retta Johnson Mimbs, 93 of Dublin, will be held at 2pm Friday at 
the Church of God. The Rev. Hugh Spivey and the Rev. Billy Wilson will 
officiate and burial will be in Union Baptist Church Cemetery near Dublin.
 A native of Laurens County, Mrs. Mimbs was the daughter of the late Charlie 
and Izora Hester Johnson, was the widow of Eustace Alton Mimbs, and was a 
member of the Church of God in Dublin. She died Wednesday afternoon in a 
Dublin nursing home after being in declining health for several months.
 Survivors include three daughters, Ruby M. Nelson and Billie M. Graham of 
Dublin and Evelyn M. Williams of East Dublin; a son, Ray Mimbs of Brunswick; a 
brother, Alvin Johnson of Minter; a sister, Mattie J. Snow of Macon; and a 
number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and 
nieces and nephews.
 Greg Graham, Jason Fountain, Michael Wood, T. L. Mimbs, Doyle Mimbs, and Jack 
Warnock will serve as pallbearers.
 The body will be placed in the church an hour before services.
 The family is at the home of Billie M. Graham, 619 Cardinal Dr., Dublin and 
will receive friends from 7-8:30 tonight at Adams Funeral Home, who has charge 
of arrangements.
