                             Mattie L. Mimbs
 Services for Mattie Lenois "Coot" Mimbs, 93, of 1199 Graham Road, will be 
held at 2pm Sunday in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. The Revs. 
Kelly Maddox and Griffin Thompson will officiate and burial will follow in 
Dublin Memorial Gardens.
 A lifelong resident of Laurens County, Mrs. Mimbs was the daughter of the 
late Ashley Barfield and the late Sally Barfield and she was the widow of T. 
L. Mimbs Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of Brewton United Methodist 
Church. Mrs. Mimbs died Friday in a Dublin nursing home.
 Survivors include two sons, T. L. Mimbs Jr. and Doyle Mimbs, both of Dublin; 
a daughters, Juanita Mimbs Sewell of Opelaka, Ala.; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-
grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
 Pallbearers will be Micky Mimbs, Jerry Mimbs, Perry Mimbs, Jarred Mimbs, 
Jasen Mimbs, and William Hart.
 The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9.
