                             William Mimbs
 DUBLIN----William H. "Fat Boy" Mimbs Sr., 69, died Wednesday in a Robins Air 
Force Base hospital after an extended illness. Services will be held at 2pm 
Saturday in Union Baptist Church in Laurens County. Burial will be in 
Bethlehem Cemetery in Laurens County with military honors.
 Mr. Mimbs, a native of Laurens County, was a retired sergeant in the US Air 
Force.
 Survivors include two sons, Alfredo L. Mimbs III, US Air Force in Okinawa and 
William H. Mimbs Jr. of Dublin; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Anges Greer of 
Conyers; a sister, Mrs. Anges Garnto of Brunswick; two brothers, Eustace Mimbs 
and Tillman Mimbs Sr. of Dublin; and two grandchildren.
 The body will be in the church from noon until 2pm Saturday.
 Sammons Funeral Home of Soperton has charge of arrangements.

William was born 9-11-1909 to Alford L. Mimbs and Mary Cornelia Wood Mimbs.
