                            Bobby Mimbs Sr.
 Bobby Mimbs Sr., 48, of 4203 San Carlos Drive died Friday in a local hospital.
 Services will be held at 2pm Sunday in Union Baptist Church in Laurens 
County. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. M. L. Miller will 
officiate.
 A native of Laurens County, Mr. Mimbs was an employee of Carroll's Movers. He 
was the son of the late Otis D. Mimbs and Ruby Carroll Mimbs.
 Survivors include his wife, Beverly Diane J. Mimbs of Macon; three daughters, 
Barbara A. Woodard of Dublin, Debra J. Mimbs and Angela M. Mimbs, both of 
Macon; two sons, Joey Tyson of Vidalia and Bobby Mimbs Jr. of Macon; three 
brothers, Harvey L. Mimbs of Byron, Thomas Batchelor of Ackworth and Herman 
Batchelor of Gastonia; five sisters, Betty Minton of Miami, Mattie Steed of 
Martinez, Ann Mullis and Carole Brewer, both of Dublin and Tina Ivey of 
Columbus; and four grandchildren.
 The family may be contacted at the residence of Edna Mimbs, 120 Pinecone 
Drive in East Dublin.
 The family will greet friends from 7:30 to 9 tonight in Adams Funeral Home in 
Dublin.

Bobby was born 27 Jan 1941. Georgia death certificate #043402. His first wife 
was Doris Laverne "Dot" Tyson Mimbs Upshaw.
