Stevens Mullis, 81, of Cadwell, will be held at 11AM Saturday in the Chapel of Adams Funeral Home. Elder Franklin Bryant will officiate. Burial will follow in Reedy Springs Baptist Church Cemetery near Cadwell. A native of Pulaski County, she had lived in Laurens County most of her life. She was the daughter of the late John Mullis and Mary Alice Howell Mullis. Mrs. Mullis was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter H. Stevens and Blanton James Mullis. She was a member of Reedy Springs Baptist Church near Cadwell. Survivors include two sons, John E. Stevens of Cadwell and James H. Stevens of Brighton; a stepdaughter, Zell Hester of Cadwell; a sister, Mrs. Lucy M. Woodall of Macon; a brother, Ernest Mullis of Cadwell; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30pm Friday. The family will be at the Mullis home in Cadwell. Active pallbearers will include James R. Stevens, Joseph Lybrink, Bryan Mullis, Dale Beck, Ronnie Skipper, and Charles Bowers. Adams Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. Additional Comments: Laura was born 16 Sep 1994.
