                       Mrs. Emmie NeSmith
 DEXTER -- Services for Mrs. Emmie NeSmith, 88, who died Friday in a Macon 
nursing home will be held at 2pm Sunday in the Buckhorn Methodist Church. 
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
 Mrs. NeSmith was a lifelong resident of Laurens County and was a member of the 
Buckhorn Methodist Church.
 Survivors include five sons, Lewis and Johnny MeSmith, both of Dexter, and 
Oscar, Clinton, and Wilbur NeSmith, all of Macon; a daughter, Mrs. H. L. Ellis 
of Macon; and two sisters, Mrs. J. O. Phillips and Mrs. Julia Horne, both of 
Dexter.
 Townsend Funeral Home is in charge.
 

Additional Comments:
Emmie was born 6 Aug 1881 to Elbert L. Davis and Sarah Drucilla Darsey Davis. 
Her husband was John James Nesmith  who is also buried in Buckhorn Methodist 
Church Cemetery.
