Services will be at 3pm today in Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Hubert Hollis, the Rev. Clinton Warnock, and the Rev. Earl Warnock officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A lifelong resident of Laurens County, Mrs. Norris was the daughter of the late Jim Loyd and the late Leona Wood Loyd. She was married to the late Charlie J. Norris and was the oldest church member of Union Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Spivey of East Dublin and Myrtle Smith of Rockledge; a son, Hubert Norris of Rockledge; three sisters, Mary Warnock of Macon, Bessie Wynn of Savannah, and Sara Norris of East Dublin; a brother, Jimmy Lee Loyd of Adrian; seven grandchilden; and nine great- grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bobby Wynn, Bruce Spivey, Sidney Spivey, Wayne Wyatt, Clinton Collins and N. T. Collins. The honorary escort will include Bobby Spivey, J. W. Warren, Gene Branch, F. B. Warnock, Elton Smith, Royce Brady, Edison Collins, Ellie J. Young, Thomas Slade, Hugh Wood, Donald Collins, and Edward Clements. The body will be at the family residence until the funeral hour.
