Passmore Sr. of Dublin Route 5 who was killed early Sunday morning in an automobile accident, were held this afternoon from the Bethsaida Baptist Church. Officiating ministers were Rev. James O. Howell and Rev. Lewel Robinson. Burial was in the New Bethel Cemetery. Adams Funeral Home was in charge. Pallbearers were Lewis Johnson, Wesley Wiggins, Jeffre Woodard, J. C. Nobles, and R. G. Neal. Honorary escort was T. C. Bobbitt, W. T. Chappell, R. L. Hogan, Doyle Beddingfield, Gladston Jansen, Curtis Curry, Russell DuPree, J. B. Mathis, Hollis McCord, Donnie crafton, Oscar Wolfe, A. K. Grier, and others. Mr. Passmore who was 36 years of age died Sunday when his truck overturned near his home 2&1/2 miles west of Dublin. Born and reared in Laurens County, he was the son of T. Q. Passmore and Allene DeVaney Passmore. A member of the Bethsaida Baptist Church, he was married to the former Miss Florence Davis. He had been a farmer of the Bethsaida community all his life. Survivors include his wife, one son, J. W. Passmore Jr., one daughter, Annie Mae Passmore, all of Dublin Route 5; parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. Q. Passmore, Macon; one brother, Thomas C. Passmore, Macon; two sisters, Mrs. John L. Williams, Valdosta and Mrs. D. R. Thomas, Valdosta. Additional Comments: J. W. was born 22 May 1916. Georgia death certificate #28878.
