                                Talmadge Pierce
 Services for Talmadge Junior Pierce, 62 of Dublin and Tampa, will be held at 
3PM today in the C. Homer Adams Chapel of Adams Funeral Home in Dublin. The 
Rev. Jack Lysaker will officiate and burial will be in Dublin Memorial Gardens.
 A native of Montgomery County, Mr. Pierce was the son of the late Talmadge 
Benjamin and Effie Lee McDaniel Pierce. He was a self-employed heavy equipment 
operator. Mr. Pierce died Saturday at his residence after a lengthy illness.
 Survivosr include his wife, Betty Lou Miller Pierce of Dublin and Tampa; a 
daughter, Martha Jane P. Smith of Swainsboro; two stepsons, Richard Brown and 
John Brown of Tampa; three stepdaughters, Michelle Brown and Ann B. Hinson of 
Tampa and Rita Gray of Greenwood, SC; two sisters, Mary Ruth P. Fuqua of Dublin 
and Lizzie Ethel P. Kielwein of Beaufort, SC; a brother, Obed E. Pierce of 
Dublin; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 Pallbearers will be Jim Bronson, Alfredo Mimbs, Bill Mimbs, Mike Fuqua, Marvin 
Grace, and Johnnie B. Hall.
 The family will be at the hone of Mrs. Fuqua, Route 3, Dublin.
