                            Albert R. Pope
 Albert Rufus Pope, 54, of 2925 Shirley Dr. died in a local hospital yesterday 
after an extended illness.
 Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 11am in Elliott Sons Chapel. 
Burial will be in West View.
 Mr. Pope is survived by a brother, F. H. Pope of Augusta; two nephews, R. F. 
Pope of Martinez and Farrell D. Pope of Columbia; and a niece, Mrs. W. M. 
Frost of Middletown, Conn.
 He was a native of Laurens County.

Additional Comments:
Albert was born about 1900 to Oscar Hicks Pope and Annie Beann Riner Pope.
