                  Services Set Wednesday For Mr. Prescott
 Services for Charles Dave "Stump" Prescott, 75, of Rt. 7 Dublin, will be held 
at 2pm Wednesday at the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. The Rev. 
John Horton will officiate and burial will be in Northview Cemetery.
 A native of Johnson County, Mr. Prescott lived in Laurens County since 1948. 
He was a farmer and livestock dealer and a member of First United Methodist 
Church. Mr. Prescott died Monday morning of injuries received in an auto 
accident.
 The son of the late Charles D. Prescott and Jennie Dent Prescott, Mr. 
Prescott was a member of the National Fox Hunters Association of America, the 
Tennessee Walker Horse Breeders Association and the Angus Cattle Breeders 
Association.
 Survivors include his wife, Cora Lee Prescott of Dublin; a son, Charles D. 
Prescott III of Dublin; a brother, Thomas Lamar Prescott of Wrightsville; five 
sisters, Doris Webb of Macon, Elizah Smith of Michigan, Neva McDaniel of 
Mable, Ala. and Madge Parker and Mrs. Johnnie Crawford, both of Wrightsville; 
and two grandchildren.
 Pallbearers will be Ed Roche, Curtis Beall, L. M. Thomas Jr., Ben Parker Jr., 
Ward Bron, Edward Zipperer, Ed Herrin and David "Ramp" Parker.
 The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7:30 to 9pm.

Additional Comments:
Charles was born 2-18-1906. Georgia death certificate #009390. His wife was 
Cora Lee McDaniel Prescott and she is also buried at Northview Cemetery in 
Laurens County.
