                            Velt Risker Price
 GLOVERVILLE, SC---Velt Risker Price, 69, of Augusta Road, died Thursday in an 
Aiken County hospital.
 Funeral services will be held at 4pm today in Posey's Funeral Home Chapel, 
Langley, SC, with the Revs. Bill Minitor and Bill Posey officiating. Burial 
will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
 He was a native of Wrightsville, Ga., but had lived in the Gloverville area 
for the past 27 years. He was a retired carpenter and a member of West 
Warrenville Baptist Church.
 Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Kate Fennell Price, Gloverville; one 
daughter, Mrs. Hazel Haywood, Dublin; two sons, Elton Price and Dolphus Price, 
both of Dublin; three sisters, Mrs. Lessie Mims and Mrs. Lois Mims, Soperton, 
Ga. and Mrs. Gertrude Durden, Apalachicola, Fla.
 Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
 Friends may call at the residence or the funeral home.

Additional Comments:
Velt was born 4-28-1905 to William Marcus Price and Millie Frances Spence 
Price. His first wife was Emma Lucile Foskey Price Tyson.
