                               Othnie Lee Rowe
 Graveside services for Othnie Lee Rowe, 78, of Abingdon, Va., formerly of 
Dublin, will be held at 2pm Saturday at Rentz Cemetery, with the Rev. James C. 
Duggan officiating.
 A native of Laurens County, Mr. Rowe had made his home in Abingdon for 30 
years, and was the son of the late Obie Lee and Hattie Bedingfield Rowe, was 
retired from a Stuckey Store franchise, and was a Baptist. He died Tuesday 
afternoon in an Abingdon hospital following a brief illness.
 Survivors include his wife, Madeline H. Rowe of Abingdon; a son, Larry W. 
Rowe of Macon; a daughter, Carole Rowe King of Bristol, Va.; a sister, Margie 
R. Nobles of Dublin; a grandson, three granddaughters, a great-granddaughter, 
and several nieces and nephews.
 The family will receive friends from 7-9pm Friday at Adams Funeral Home.

Additional Comments:
Othnie was born 2-15-1914. His first wife was Evelyn Lorene Burch Rowe who is 
also buried in the Rentz Cemetery in Laurens County.
