                              Helen Sapp
 Funeral services for Helen Thompson Sapp, 93, of Cadwell, will be held at 
Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon April 8, 2009 at 2pm. Burial 
will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Greg Lowery and Rev. Jack Lee will be 
the officiating ministers.
 Mrs. Sapp was born in Bleckley County, January 14, 1916 to the late Jim 
Daniel and Barbara Williams Thompson. Mrs. Sapp has lived in Laurens County 
almost all of her life. Mrs. Sapp was preceded in death by her husband, 
William Tyrus Sapp; one daughter, Joan Williams; three brothers,  Oscar, 
Arthur Lee, and Harrell Thompson; three sisters, Eula, Maude, and Lola 
Thompson, Mrs. Sapp peacefully passed away Monday morning at her residence in 
Cadwell surrounded by her loving family.
 Mrs. Sapp is survived by her son, William "Earl" Sapp (Gerry) of Cadwell; 
four grandchildren, Angela Churchwell of Hawkinsville, Cara Powell (Rob) of 
Cadwell, Kimberly Pierce of Statesboro, and Cindy Stewart (Kenny) of Cadwell; 
9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
 Visitation for Mrs. Sapp will be held at Adams Funeral Home Tuesday night 
April 7, 2009 from 6pm until 9pm.
 Pallbearers to serve at Mrs. Sapp service will be Larry Brewer, Wayne Poole, 
Jeffery Graham, Tommy Gay, Chad Sapp and David Moye. Honorary pallbearers will 
be the deacons of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
 In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be given to 
Serenity Hospice Care at 520  Hillcrest Parkway, Dublin, Ga. 31021.
 Adams Funeral Home of Dublin has charge of arrangements for Mrs. Helen 
Thompson Sapp.
