Margaret (Maiden Name Carroll) Shiver was born 7-29-1899 and died 2-21-1989 (GA
DC # 007651) and is buried at Dudley City Cemetery. Her father, Jessie Bass
Carroll is buried at Bethany Church cemetery in Bleckley County. Her mother was
 Lou Janice  "Jenny" Padgette Carroll Lucas.

 Margaret C. Shiver

DRY BRANCH---Margaret C. Shiver, 89, of Route 1, died Tuesday in a local
hospital after an extended illness.
Services will be held at 11AM Friday in Hart's Mortuary. Burial will be at 2PM
Friday in Dudley City Cemetery. The Rev. James Rayburn will officiate.
A native of Laurens County, Mrs. Shiver was a homemaker and a Methodist.
Survivors inclide a daughter, Aretha Underwood of Dry Branch; five sons, Horace
F. Shiver of Blackwood, NJ, Earl Shiver of Dublin, Joel C. Shiver of Immokalee,
Fla., R. S. Shiver of Florida City, Fla., and Eugene Shiver of Warner Robins; 24
grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. 
The family will greet friends from 7 until 9PM Thursday in the funeral home.
