Mrs. Smith was a native of Laurens County and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Norris. She was married to the late John M. Foskey and the late David Smith. She was a member of the Silver Leaf Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, Tommy Foskey and Rufus Foskey, both of Wrightsville, Earl Foskey of Soperton, and Edward Foskey of Adrian; six daughters, Mrs. Lois Brantley of Soperton, Mrs. Cleo Collins of Tarrytown, Mrs. Leodia Evans of Rincon, Mrs. Georgia Mae Wilson of Macon, Mrs. Johnnie Glover of Winter Haven, Fla., and Mrs. Clara Mosley of Lyons; a sister, Mrs. Leitha Black of Dublin; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. Services were held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 3PM August 2, with the Rev. Ronny Wheeler officiating. Burial was in Red Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery.
