                         Beatrice Wilson Smith
 Macon, Ga.---Beatrice Wilson Smith, 84, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at a 
local hospital after a brief illness. Graveside services will be private 
family only with Timothy L. Smith, Minister Stephen P. Waller officiating. The 
family will greet friends on Friday, June 26, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at 
Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
 Mrs. Smith was born February 28, 1925 in Laurens County, Georgia to the late 
George and Callie Foskey Wilson. She is preceded in death by her siblings, 
Alton Wilson, Woodrow Wilson, Monroe Wilson, M. T. Wilson, Catherine Wilson, 
and Allene Falcione. She was retired from the Bibb Mills and was a member of 
West Macon Church of Christ.
 She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-four years, Samuel L. Smith 
Jr.; four sons, Dwight (Frances) Smith, Wendell (Carolyn) Smith, Roger (Julie) 
Smith, and Phillip (Pat) Smith; two daughters, Hazel (Roy) Cox and Lennis 
(Sam) Leonard; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; five step 
great-grandchildren; and one surviving sister, Pauline (Clyde) Rowe; sister-in-
law, Georgia Mae Wilson; and brother-in-law, Vincent Falcione.
 Macon Memorial Park Home and Cemetery has charge of the arrangements.
