                  Services for Mrs. Smith are set today

 Services for Mrs. John Milton Smith, 63 of Rt. 3 Dublin, will be held at 4pm 
today at the C. Homer Adams Chapel at Adams Funeral Home. The Rev. David 
Coleman will officiate and burial will be in Northview Cemetery.

 A native of Bacon County, Mrs. Smith lived most of her life in Laurens County. 
She was the former Mary Julia Sanders, daughter of the late Jule Hudson Sanders 
and Flossy Graham Sanders. Mrs. Smith was a Baptist and was married to the late 
John Milton "Bill" Smith. She died Tuesday morning at a local hospital.

 Survivors include two daughters, Mary Alice Howard of Dublin and Judy Wyre of 
Jacksonville, Fla.; three grandchildren, Alicia Howard of Dublin and Rhonda 
Wyre and Randy Wyre, both of Jacksonville; and two brothers, Eulas H. Sanders 
and Jack G. Sanders. both of Dublin.

 Pallbearers will be Fred Harvey, Ike Thigpen, Robert Willis, Tommy Cauthen, 
Ralph Jerrers, and Al Sawyer Jr.
