(maiden name Sanders) Smith was born 5-17-1895 and died 12-22-1987 (GA DC #049565). Her husband, Lonnie Smith Sr. was born 1-24-1884 and died 12-2-1970 (GA DC# 040031). Both are buried at Dublin Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Laurens County. Her parents, John Green Sanders Jr. and Anna Martha Pritchett Sanders, are both buried at Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County. Services will be held at 11AM today in Allgood Memorial Chapel in Jeffersonville. Burial will be in Dublin Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Angus Hart and Jeffery Slaughter will officiate. A lifelong resident of Danville, Mrs. Smith was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Danville. Survivors include two daughters, Hazel S. Wester and Virginia S. Smith, both of Macon; three sons, Earl T. Smith of Danville, Ralph Smith of Jeffersonville, and Lonnie Smith Jr. of Allentown; a sister, Jane S. Burial will be in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mr. Smith, a native of Cochran, had lived in the Danville area for 44 years. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Vida S. Smith; two daughters, Miss Virginia Smith of Macon and Mrs. Hazel S. Wester of Dry Branch; three sons, Earl T. Smith and Lonnie Smith Jr., both of Danville and Ralph Smith of Jeffersonville.
