Spivey, 53, of 319 Arch Street, were held this morning at Townsend Chapel with the Rev. C. E. Vines officiating. Burial was in Dublin Memorial Gardens and Townsend Brothers Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Native of Laurens County, he was the son of the late Arthur F. Spivey and the late Frances Stewart Spivey. He was a disabled veteran of World War II, having lost a leg in service, and was a member of the Baptist denomination. Mr. Spivey died unexpectedly at his home Tuesday. His survivors are his wife, the former Miss Bessie Thomas of Dublin; five daughters, Mrs. Betty Barrow, Mrs. Peggy Crooms, Miss Belinda Spivey and Miss Kathy Spivey, both of Dublin, and Mrs. Sandra Etheridge of Toomsboro; and one brother, the Rev.
