                          Mr. Stewart
 SAVANNAH---- Charlie Stewart, 76, of 59 Lamara Apartments, Savannah, died 
Wednesday in a Newport News, Virginia hospital. Services will be at 10am 
Saturday in the chapel of Sipples Mortuary in Savannah. Burial will be at 1pm 
Saturday in Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Rockledge.
 A native of Laurens County, Mr. Stewart was the son of the late Charlie J. 
Stewart and the late Katie Cobb Stewart. He was married to the late Emma Ricks 
Stewart. Mr. Stewart was a retired farmer and worked for many years at Robins 
Air Force Base. He was a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church and had lived 
in Savannah for several years.
 Survivors include three daughters, Iris S. Simmons and Kaye S. DeLoach, both 
of Savannah, and Mary S. Wooddall of Tabb, Va.; two sons, Floyd Stewart and 
Bobby D. Stewart, both of Savannah; a brother, Carson Stewart of Dublin; 12 
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Additional Comments:
Charlie was born 26 May 1903.
