                                Mr. Stewart
 Services for Thomas Theodore Stewart, 73, of Carol Drive East Dublin, will be 
held at 3pm Wednesday at Union Baptist Church. The Rev. Hubert Hollis and the 
Rev. W. E. Flanders will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
 A lifelong resident of Laurens County, Mr. Stewart was the son of the late 
James Ezra and Nannie Young Stewart and was a retired painter and a Baptist. 
He died Monday at a Twiggs County nursing home after a lengthy illness.
 Survivors include his wife, Dessie Spivey Stewart of East Dublin; a 
stepdaughter, Grace Williams of Dublin; two stepsons, William R. Register of 
Long Beach, Calif. and James D. Register of Reidsville; and several nieces and 
nephews.
 Pallbearers will be Wayne Wyatt, Junior Wyatt, Bobby G. Spivey, Ashley 
Warnock, Mervin Wilkes, and Brent Bracewell.
 The body will be placed in the church at 2pm Wednesday to remain until the 
funeral hour.
 The family will be at the home of Mrs. Williams, Route 7 Dublin, and will 
receive friends from 7:30-9 tonight at Adams Funeral Home.
