                              James Hillard Stewart
 Funeral services for James Hillard Stewart, 52, of 201 East Mary Street, who 
was found dead of stab wounds Saturday night, will be held at 2pm today at 
Blue Springs Baptist Church. The Rev. T. H. Beckworth will officiate and 
burial will be in the church cemetery.
 Mr. Stewart was a lifelong resident of Laurens County, son of the late James 
Ezra and Nannie Young Stewart. He was a member of the Baptist faith and was a 
painter by profession.
 Surviving are one brother, Theo Stewart of Dublin and a number of other 
relatives.
 Adams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and active pallbearers will 
be Alver Spivey, Harold Spivey, Hugh Spivey, Don Spivey, Harvey Zeigler, and 
Paul Meeks.

James was born 15 Dec 1917. Georgia death certificate #036666.
