                  Wm. Riley Stewart Buried Laurens Co.
 William Riley Stewart, 48, of 212 Smith Street, died Monday following an 
extended illness. A native of Laurens County, he was the son of the late 
Charlie Stewart and Mrs. Ada Graham Stewart. He had resided here six years.
 Funeral services were held Tuesday form the Blue Springs Baptist Church in 
Laurens County. The Rev. W. E. Flanders and the Rev. H. L. Hollis were the 
officiating ministers. Burial was in the church cemetery with Sammons Funeral 
Home in charge of arrangements.
 In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Gene Stewart of Lollie 
and Charle Mac Stewart of US Army, Marine, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Retha 
Leopard of Augusta; two brothers, Charlie L. Stewart and Carson L. Stewart of 
Dublin.
