(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net August 21, 2009, 2:50 pm The Dubl;in Courier Herald 9-1-1982 Page 2 Mrs. Tucker Services for Lois Tucker, 55, of 228 Mincey St., Dublin, will be held at 2pm Thursday in the chapel of Townsend Funeral Home. Burial will be in Northview Cemetery. The Rev. Charles Cox and the Rev. Max Newman will officiate. Mrs. Tucker, a native of Johnson County, was reared in the Minter community of Laurens County. She was a resident of Chester for most of her life, but had lived in Dublin for the past seven years. She was a member of Moore Street Baptist Church and was the daughter of the late Int and Emma Palmer Foskey of Johnson County. Mrs. Tucker died Tuesday night in a local hospital. Survivors include her husband; Harlan Tucker of Dublin; two sons, Kenny Barron of Dublin and Ronnie Barron of Eastman; seven daughters, Ann Lewis of Chester, Joyce Jessup of Vidalia, Jackie Baggett and Patsy Garnto, both of Rentz, and Judy Cox, Kay Barron, and Kathy Jo Barron, all of Dublin; one sister, Thelma Harrington of LaGrange; and 21 grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Randall Barron, Reese Foskey, Johnnie Foskey, Junior Evans, Buddy Jesup, and Andrew Bryan. The Ladies' Sunday School Class of Moore Street Baptist Church will serve as honorary escort. The family will receive friends at Townsend Funeral Home from 7:30-9pm tonight.
