Services will be held at 11am Friday at Bay Springs Baptist Church. The Rev. Douglas Bush and Rev. Harold Jennings will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. A native of Johnson County, Mrs. Tyson lived in East Dublin 21 years. She was a Protestant. Survivors include four daughters, Dora Mae Melton of East Dublin, Patsy Ann Burgess of Florida, Betty Jean Thigpen of Dublin, and Theresa Lee Wigley of Jacksonville, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Julie Bell Weaver of Ellijay and Katherine Rawls of Wrightsville; six sons, James B. Tyson and Cecil Adams Tyson, both of East Dublin, Wilmer Tyson of Atlanta, Johnny Tyson of Dublin, Charles Lee Tyson of Pensacola, Fla., and Donald Eugene Tyson of Florida; two stepsons, Arthur L. Tyson of Dublin and John W. Tyson Jr. of Atlanta; 45 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Johnson, Lonzo Dixon, Ray Daniels, Tom Barfield, Alva Pheil, and Harry B. Nazworthy Jr. Stanley Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Fannie was born 11 Feb 1911. Georgia death certificate #025804. Her second husband was John W. Tyson Sr. who is also buried at Bay Springs Cemetery in Johnson County.
