(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net February 1, 2009, 1:56 pm The Dublin Courier Herald 11-11-1974 Page 12 Robert Lee Webb Final rites for Robert Lee Webb, 69, of Dublin Route Six, are to be held this afternoon at four o'clock in the Union Baptist Church in Minter. The Rev. Clinton Warnock, Pastor, and the Rev. Jim Bush and the Rev. Dough Bush will officiate and burial will be in Dublin Memorial Gardens. The body will lie in state in the church from three PM until funeral time. Pallbearers will include Hugh Wood, Richard Warnock, Herschel Clements, Junior Spivey, Bobby Jean Spivey and J. W. Warren. Townsend Brothers Funeral Home will direct the services. A native of Johnson County, Mr. Webb had lived in Laurens County all of his life. He was a member of the Union Baptist Church and a retired Railroad employee of the Sandersville Railroad Company. He was the son of the late Bob Webb and Jennie Lumley Webb, of Johnson County. Mr. Webb died Saturday night in a local hospital after a three week illness. His survivors are his widow, Mrs. Cordelia Foskey Webb of Dublin; three sons, James L. and C. W. Webb of Dublin and Turner A. Webb of Macon; four brothers, T. J. Webb of Wadley, Randolph Webb of Savannah, Ivey Webb of Macon, and Earl Webb of Dublin; a sister, Mrs. Henry Etta Young of Dublin; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
